This quality 2000 bar gauge set is designed to test the hydraulic function and integrity of the Common Rail Diesel high pressure fuel delivery system to pinpoint faults 
in the pump, fuel rail or injectors. This tool,in conjunction with your scan tool data, will enable a precise diagnosis to be made. 
This is essential due to the high cost of fuel system components and the time involved in repairs. The tool comprises a 2000 bar oil damped gauge, a tee piece incorporating 
an over-pressure relief valve and 4 flexible hoses, 12 and 14mm, to connect to the system. Spare sealing washers and o rings are also supplied, and 4 adaptors. 
One of the benefits of a mechanical gauge is the ability to watch the pressure rise during cranking to check for hard starting. 
Another is to ensure that the pressure reported to the scan tool is what is actually available thereby checking the function of the rail pressure sensor. 
These are just two of the tests that can be made. This tool is also supplied with a set of rail pressure blanking caps to isolate various components, 
and a set of dummy inlet metering valves to test the pump output.
